Resolutions

Resolved #1: To trust God from beginning to end.  It is better to know God than to know all the answers.

Resolved #2: To tirelessly serve Parts people as a leader, follower, worker or otherwise.

As I was talking to a dear friend last night, I again began to wonder if serving in Parts is a wise or foolish decision.  Then I remembered.

When the bible speaks of fools, it speaks first not of people who make bad (impractical, not best, etc.) decisions but of people who deliberately sin. I am not perfect and I pray that in choosing to serve with Parts, that God rid me of sinful desires and motives. Even if I do not get to see the ministry rebuilt, or if the work breaks down, I think it would have been worth it to see the volunteers and students grow in conviction, character and competence.

May Christ be magnified in our lives!
