An encouragement for all my dear co-workers out there

 

2Cor. 1:12 ¶ For our boast is this:  the testimony of our conscience that we behaved in the world with simplicity  and  godly sincerity,  not by earthly wisdom but by the grace of God, and supremely so toward you. 

By ‘accident’, I came upon this tiny gem of scripture while waiting for dinner on Saturday.  I think the apostles were very human and yet, they left a legacy of NT scriptures as well as examples for godly living.  They lived simply, sincerely and supremely so, all according to God’s holy standards.

It is a supreme example of what a mighty and gracious God can do in and through His people.  No matter how confusing/saddening/frustrating/frightening this world can be.  We have been set free by the truth.  We are no longer bound to the lies of the enemy.  We must not live cowering under false truths.  

I pray that our God gives us courage to do just that this year and beyond.
